We are in the process of replacing our old worn out beds at each of our shelters, with new bed frames made of rugged metal to withstand rigorous use, and mattresses with an easy-to-clean waterproof, antibacterial surface. In 2020 alone, Crossroads Mission Avenue provided over 47,000 nights of stay to our needy neighbors in Kearney, Hastings and Grand Island! The new equipment will stand up to the extensive cleaning procedures required here at the shelter and should serve us for many years to come!
