Crossroads Mission Avenue is pleased to be selected for the National Recycle Council‘s Green Team of the Year Award! This award recognizes Crossroads’ recycle efforts as a highly organized, mature green team with the capacity to sustain itself and engage others. The unique work that Crossroads is doing in this area was noted for its sustainability and foresight, with a vision for growth. The program will reuse and recycle around 1,200,000 pounds of clothing, toys, shoes, accessories, books, and metals this year, keeping these items out of local landfills and helping to keep Nebraska beautiful! The award was accepted by Executive Director Daniel Buller at the NRC annual conference in Lincoln.
