Our Grand Island location is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of Case Manager.  Make a difference in the lives of others – join our team!  The responsibilities, skills, and qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in the daily operations of our Residential Program, High Commitment Shelter, Emergency Shelter, Meal Ministry, as well as other outreach functions.
• Monitor the building and its residents.  Transport guests.
• Walk alongside guests as a disciple of Christ and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them through actions and words.
• Serve the guests in a Christ-like manner and practice a self-evaluative lifestyle.
• Strong interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships with diverse groups of guests and volunteers.
• Must be able to handle crisis situations with calm and clear thinking.
• Nebraska Driver’s License with clean driving record required.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of drug and alcohol recovery and mental illness preferred.
• Background in human services is a plus.

Help us fulfill a bigger purpose by serving others – come join our team! This full-time Hastings position will work up to 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends. Receptionist responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:         

• Securing donations.
• Data entry.
• Become proficient in our database networking and check-in/ out guests as needed. 
• Answer phone and send out detailed messages accordingly.
• Possess great communication skills and must be a team player.
• Be flexible with scheduling. This would include working weekends, and evening shifts, up to 40 hours per week. 
• Have a compassionate heart for the homeless and be able to follow all rules and policies. 
• Be teachable and willing to learn all aspects of job. 

The pay rate for this full-time position is $15 per hour and Includes benefits.

Our Grand Island location is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of Lead Case Manager.  Make a difference in the lives of others – join our team!  The responsibilities, skills, and qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• Provide orientation and training for each guest enrolled in the 4-Phase PRP Recovery and Long-Term Living Program
• Counsel current guests from a Christian perspective, empower them to affect needed change in their lives and encourage them to grow in their relationship with Christ
• Be on-call in case of emergencies involving guests
• Coordinate guest drug and alcohol testing as needed
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with local agencies and organizations.
• Provide oversight and instruction for staff working under your direction
• Possess strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to diffuse conflict and always treat Crossroads’ guests with dignity and respect
• Bachelor of Social Work or Psychology preferred, or a minimum of one year experience in Social Work. Management experience required.
• Hold a current CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to become certified

This full-time position pays $21.50 per hour DOE, and includes benefits.
